WHAT IS STEVIA?

Stevia is a natural extract from the leaves of Stevia Rebaudiana, a herb which is native to South America. Stevia leaves contain special compounds called steviol glycosides, which are naturally sweet.

DOES IT HAVE AN AFTER TASTE?

Modern Nature has developed a unique recipe that only uses the sweetest parts of the stevia plant. This means we can leave out most of the compounds that give other stevia-based sweeteners a licorice-like aftertaste. We also balance the flavours of natural stevia with a few natural ingredients, giving our stevia products an authentically sweet and pure taste.​​​

IS IT SAFE FOR ME TO USE?

Yes. MODERN NATURE POWDERED STEVIA (coming soon) can be used like sugar for baking, drinks and dressings. Just 1 teaspoon replaces a teaspoon of sugar. Please see our guidelines on how to use it.
